Curt Schilling, former Boston Red Sox pitcher and a three-time World Series champion, revealed in February that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
The sobering news still hasn’t dampened Schilling’s spirits.
The 47-year-old finished his final round of radiation Tuesday, according to a tweet from his daughter, Gabby, and he celebrated the milestone by donning a fantastic T-shirt.

The clever shirt, which reads “I Finished Radiation, When Do I Get My Superpowers?” is a testament to Schilling’s ability to stay lighthearted during his grueling recovery process.
Schilling officially completed chemotherapy treatments a week ago and has received a great amount of support from Red Sox players and staff since his diagnosis.
