After more than a month in the hospital, Curt Schilling finally is home.

Schilling’s wife, Shonda, tweeted out the good news Friday afternoon, along with a sign welcoming the former Boston Red Sox pitcher back.

Schilling, 47, announced in early February that he had been diagnosed with cancer. He underwent surgery shortly thereafter, followed by rounds of chemotherapy and radiation.

Shonda Schilling tweeted last Wednesday that her husband’s chemo was “officially done” and again this past Tuesday to announce that he had completed his final round of radiation — an achievement Schilling celebrated by wearing this tremendous T-shirt.
