Kyle Singler, Kris HumphriesWith the Boston Celtics’ season rapidly winding down, president of basketball operations Danny Ainge soon will have some decisions to make.

One of those will be what to do with big man Kris Humphries, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent at season’s end.

Ainge said Thursday in his weekly interview with 98.5 The Sports Hub’s “Toucher & Rich” that he has had discussions with Humphries about his future with the team but is unwilling to make any commitments at this time.

“I have had a few conversations with Kris, because he’s been with us all year,” Ainge said. “He knows where we are as an organization and he knows we like him. He also knows there is a lot of uncertainty. But he knows we like him, his coaches and teammates like him, we just can’t make any promises yet.”

Humphries has played in 67 of the Celtics’ 75 games this season, averaging 8.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in 20.1 minutes. He previously expressed a desire to return to Boston for the 2014-15 season.
