Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. was ready to go home.

The Red Sox and White Sox battled for more than five hours Wednesday night, but Bradley made sure his team emerged victorious by lining a two-run double into the right field corner off infielder Leury Garcia with two outs in the 14th inning. The Red Sox snapped a three-game losing streak with the 6-4 win at U.S. Cellular Field.

Garcia was called upon to pitch the 14th inning for the White Sox because they ran out of relievers. The utilityman actually recorded two quick outs against Grady Sizemore and A.J. Pierzynski, but back-to-back walks to Daniel Nava and Jonathan Herrera paved the way for Bradley’s game-winning double. White Sox pitchers issued 15 total walks.

Bradley, who finished the game 1-for-6 with a walk, yanked a pitch located on the inside corner down the right field line. Nava and Herrera easily scored to give Boston a lead it didn’t relinquish.
