San Jose Sharks forward Joe Pavelski reached the 40-goal mark for the first time in his NHL career this season, and his teammates were ready to help him commemorate the milestone in a fitting way.

Pavelski scored two goals in San Jose’s regular-season finale to increase his total to 41 on the year, surpassing his previous career high by 10 goals. The feat certainly called for a celebration, and after the Sharks’ 3-2 win over the Phoenix Coyotes, the party was on — in the locker room, anyway.

Adam Burish, a Sharks teammate and former University of Wisconsin roommate, dropped off some tasty presents for Pavelski at his locker after the game.
