John Farrell: Brock Holt Brought Up To Spark Red Sox Offense (Video)

The Boston Red Sox offense hasn’t found their spark in 2014 yet, but there’s still a lot of time left in the season for them to pick up their momentum.

John Farrell made some changes to the lineup Friday that he hoped might get his team going. Infielder Ryan Roberts was designated for assignment, and Brock Holt got the start at third base with the hope that the hot bat he had in Pawtucket would translate into what the Sox needed at Fenway.

Check out Farrell’s explanation for the move in the video above.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
