To say Jon Stewart isn’t a fan of the NCAA would be an understatement.
The “Daily Show” host went off on the governing body of college athletics Thursday, ripping the NCAA for claiming it was “disappointed” in college athletes’ decision to unionize.
Stewart’s comments come just days after the conclusion of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, during which University of Connecticut star Shabazz Napier called out the NCAA and said he sometimes goes to bed “starving.”
“How could a guy playing on the biggest stage in college sports be going hungry?” Stewart asked incredulously.
