Did you see the American flag blazer Jonny Gomes wore to the White House earlier this month and think, “Hey, I want that?” Well, now’s your chance.
Gomes’ patriotic jacket has since been autographed by 30 Boston Red Sox players and coaches, and it’s now up for auction on MLB.com, with all net proceeds from its sale going to benefit the Travis Roy Foundation.
Prospective buyers can place their bids here, but they should hurry. Though the auction runs through May 4, the highest bid had already climbed to $550.00 by 3:45 p.m. Thursday — less than four hours after bidding opened.
