Jonny Gomes: It’s Too Early In The Season To Say We’re ‘Scuffling’ (Video)

The Boston Red Sox dropped to 1-4 at Fenway Park this season after falling to the Texas Rangers 10-7 on Tuesday night.

Although the Red Sox rallied back from a 9-1 deficit, they couldn’t get their offense rolling at the right times, squandering too many opportunities on the basepaths. It wasn’t the prettiest of defeats, but after the game, Jonny Gomes still managed to find some bright sides to the loss.

The Red Sox outfielder said it’s far too early in the season to start getting worried and his team simply needs “to put a positive nine together and then we’ll roll.”

Check out the rest of Gomes’ postgame reaction in the video above.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
