Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson stopped by PNC Park on Thursday night to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Pittsburgh Pirates game.
Tyson is in Pittsburgh for a Friday boxing event set up by his Iron Mike Productions, but he managed to have a little fun out of the ring during an on-field photo opportunity.
The boxer threw a strike over the plate and then posed for a picture with Pirates catcher Tony Sanchez. Iron Mike showed he still has a sense of humor when he leaned in and pretended to bite Sanchez’s ear — a throwback to Tyson’s infamous 1997 fight with Evander Holyfield.
Sanchez looked amusingly startled afterward as he recounted the picture to his teammates in the dugout.
