Though the remainder of the Knicks’ season is limited to Wednesday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors at Madison Square Garden, sources told ESPN on Tuesday that Odom’s contract likely would include an unguaranteed second year. However, terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed.

Odom’s signing reunites him with Knicks president Phil Jackson, who was head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers for Odom’s tenure there.

Odom last played in the NBA for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2012-13 season. When he wasn’t picked up by a team this season, he played two games in the Spanish League before suffering a back injury.
