The NHL will start announcing the finalists for the major end-of-the-season awards Tuesday, April 22.
The winners will be unveiled during a special ceremony June 24 in Las Vegas.
The list of awards that will be presented include the Hart Trophy, Vezina Trophy, Norris Trophy, Selke Trophy, Calder Trophy and Jack Adams Award.
Here’s when the finalists for each award will be made public.
Tuesday: Lady Byng Trophy
Wednesday: Calder Trophy
Thursday Selke Trophy
Friday: Vezina Trophy
Monday, April 28: Norris Trophy
Tuesday, April 29: Mark Messier NHL Leadership Award
Wednesday, April 30: Masterton Trophy
Thursday, May 1: Hart Trophy
Friday, May 2: NHL Foundation Player Award
Monday, May 5: Ted Lindsay Award
Tuesday, May 6: Jack Adams Award
There should be a couple of Boston Bruins among the finalists for several awards.
Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask is the favorite to win the Vezina Trophy, center Patrice Bergeron is a top candidate to win the Selke Trophy for the second time in his career, and captain Zdeno Chara is expected to be a finalist for the Norris Trophy.
It also wouldn’t be surprising if B’s head coach Claude Julien was nominated for the Jack Adams Award after leading the Original Six franchise to the best record in the league.
Gregory Campbell is Boston’s nominee for the Bill Masterton Trophy.
