On April 16, 2000, the New England Patriots grabbed one of the biggest steals in NFL draft history.

The Patriots took Michigan quarterback Tom Brady with the 199th overall pick on the second day of the draft — the event was just two days back then. It was the perfect way for Patriots coach Bill Belichick to celebrate his 48th birthday.

The Patriots celebrated Brady’s 14th anniversary with the team Wednesday by tweeting out his draft card.
