The Boston Red Sox received their 2013 World Series rings Friday at Fenway Park — more than five months after defeating the St. Louis Cardinals on that very field to clinch the title.

As was the case following the 2004 and 2007 championships, the rings were presented to each Red Sox player and staff member during a special pregame ceremony on Opening Day at Fenway. The festivities began at 1 p.m., with first pitch of the Red Sox’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers scheduled for 2:05 p.m.
