Red Sox’s Daniel Nava Makes Amazing Diving Catch In Third Inning (Video)

Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell said Grady Sizemore was batting leadoff Thursday night as an attempt to spark right fielder Daniel Nava, who had been slumping.

Although the Red Sox fell 4-1 to the New York Yankees in the series opener, Nava looked sharper both at the plate and defensively. He provided the Red Sox their solo run with a homer in the seventh inning and also made an exceptional diving catch on a fly ball to right in the third.
