Boston Red Sox’s Home-Opener Winning Streak Ends At Nine Games (Video)

The Boston Red Sox celebrated their 2013 World Series triumph Friday afternoon at Fenway Park, receiving their championship rings during a beautiful pregame ceremony.

Once the game started, the visiting Milwaukee Brewers quickly opened the scoring with a two-run homer from Jonathan Lucroy in the second inning. The Brewers added four more runs over the next seven innings en route to a 6-2 victory that stopped Boston’s nine-game home-opener winning streak.

Check out the video above for Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia’s postgame reaction.
