The San Jose Sharks had no trouble figuring out Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick during Sunday night’s Stanley Cup playoff game.

The Sharks, who managed to put 10 goals past Quick during their Western Conference semifinal series last season, put seven unanswered goals past him in just over 25 minutes Sunday. Seven different Sharks scored in the rout, just a few days after six different Sharks scored in their 6-1 win in Game 1.

“It’s huge,” Sharks winger Raffi Torres said, via NHL.com. “You just look at all the teams that go deep and win games in the playoffs, everybody is contributing.”

The Kings took an early 2-0 lead in Game 2, but Sharks forward Mike Brown joined Torres in scoring during the second period to rally San Jose from a 2-0 deficit. Justin Braun, Patrick Marleau, Joe Pavelski, Logan Couture and Joe Thornton also contributed goals in the win.

The Kings took things in stride with some self-depreciating humor on Twitter.
