The WWE announced that the Ultimate Warrior died Tuesday after appearing on “Monday Night Raw” the previous night.

The WWE superstar, whose real name is James Hellwig, collapsed outside of an Arizona hotel before being transported to an area hospital, officials told TMZ. The Warrior was 54 years old.

Hellwig legally changed his name to Warrior in 1993. He was in New Orleans over the weekend, where he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on Saturday. He also appeared at WrestleMania 30 on Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Hellwig’s final TV appearance was on “Monday Night Raw” at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. He hadn’t appeared on the show since 1996.
