During the second period of Saturday’s game between the Bruins and Sabres, Buffalo forward John Scott skated at Boston forward Milan Lucic and appeared to be trying to engage him in a fight.
Lucic wanted no part of it, and his teammate and captain Zdeno Chara quickly came to his defense. Chara received a double-minor for high-sticking Scott, who got two minutes each for roughing and unsportsmanlike conduct in addition to a 10-minute misconduct.
