After a strong start to his career with the New England Patriots, cornerback Asante Samuel signed a lucrative six-year, $56 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
He immediately put that money to use, dishing out millions to have a 15,000-square-foot mansion built in Southwest Ranches, Fla.
Samuel finally is reaping the benefits of that investment, as Busted Coverage reported last week that the 33-year-old is selling the property for a cool $12.9 million.
The lavish pad comes with nine bedrooms, 13 baths, a 10-car garage and a pool area with a swim-in grotto.
Samuel spent the last two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons but was released in February. He’s currently a free agent.
