Atlanta Braves Release Sketches Of New Cobb County Stadium (Photos)

At the end of the 2016 season, the Atlanta Braves will close up shop at Turner Field after just 20 years of calling it their home ballpark.

The Braves will pack their bags and head northwest to a new stadium currently under construction in Cobb County and scheduled to be ready for Opening Day in 2017.

The Braves’ plans for their new digs are quite grand, as they hope to make the area a “play, work, stay” destination by constructing a central plaza and a main boulevard lined with restaurants and shops.

The Braves released several artist’s renderings of their future home on their official website this week. Check out a few samples below.
