When a hockey team is down by two goals with time running out in the third period, it’s easy for the players to hang their heads.
To overcome such a deficit takes a mentally tough team, and that’s exactly what the Boston Bruins are.
“This was truly about team believability in themselves, in one another, leadership, and we are not going to go to Montreal down 0-2,” NESN’s Andy Brickley said. “That’s what that third period was truly all about.”
