A huge part of the Boston Red Sox’s struggles during their nine-game losing streak has been their starting pitching, but there will be a change in the rotation Sunday.
Brandon Workman is getting the start against the Tampa Bay Rays in place of the injured Felix Doubront, and he’ll hopefully bring a welcome change.
While his 5.12 ERA in Triple-A Pawtucket doesn’t look great, Workman doesn’t think that his numbers reflect what he can do. He is also the most major league-ready of anyone in Pawtucket as far as starters go.
