BOSTON — The Bruins almost won Game 1 of their playoff series Thursday night against the Montreal Canadiens in overtime off a rebound from a shot at the point.
Bruins forward Carl Soderberg tried to jam the puck past Canadiens goaltender Carey Price, who nervously looked behind him after failing to stop the initial attempt on goal. The puck slid near the goal line the length of the crease before it was cleared.
The teams played to a scoreless overtime at TD Garden.
