Bryce Harper Gets Engaged, Takes Patriotic Engagement Photos

Washington Nationals slugger Bryce Harper has done many things normal 21-year-olds can’t say they’ve accomplished — he was drafted No. 1 overall in the 2010 MLB Draft, he was named the National League Rookie of the Year and he’s a two-time All-Star.

Now, he can add getting engaged to that impressive list.

The Nats star recently proposed to his longtime girlfriend Kayla Varner, who like Harper, also hails from Las Vegas. Varner is a junior at Ohio State University where she plays soccer.

The young couple took some engagement pictures, and they were not lacking on the red, white and blue.
