The Boston Red Sox turned on the power in Toronto over the weekend, as catcher A.J. Pierzynski capped this week’s home runs with a two-out grand slam in the third inning to give Boston a 5-3 lead over the Blue Jays.
Other notable long balls included yet another bomb from Chicago White Sox rookie sensation Jose Abreu, a blast into McCovey Cove by San Diego Padres slugger Yasmandi Grandal and an impressive solo shot from Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Jordan Lyles.
