Carl Soderberg Scores First Goal In Bruins-Canadiens Game 5 (Video)

BOSTON — Carl Soderberg was one of the Bruins’ best players in Thursday night’s Game 4 at Bell Centre, where he did just about everything except score.

His hard work was rewarded in the first period of Saturday night’s Game 5 at TD Garden when he opened the scoring with a goal on Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price.

After B’s defenseman Matt Bartkowski sent the puck below the goal line, Loui Eriksson retrieved it and fired a pass to Soderberg in the slot. The Swedish forward beat Price high stick-side with a one-time shot.

It’s Soderberg’s first goal of this second-round Stanley Cup playoff series. Watch it in the video below.
