The Gastonia Grizzlies are advertising themselves as the “best-dressed team in sports,” and they’re probably right.
For unexplained reasons — other than the fact that they look awesome — the summer collegiate baseball team unveiled tuxedo uniforms Thursday that they plan on wearing during their home opener Saturday.
The jerseys have yellow ties and black vests printed on them and have actual collars. The pants are black with gray tuxedo stripes running down the side.
The Gastonia Grizzlies play in Gastonia, N.C., in the Coastal Plain League and are actually known for their crazy promotions, such as their annual Grandma Beauty Pageant.
