daniel navaAfter sweeping the Atlanta Braves in Georgia, the Boston Red Sox return to Fenway Park looking for a three-game win streak.

The Sox will face the Braves once again on Wednesday night, this time on their home turf, allowing them to take advantage of the designated hitter spot.

Boston’s lineup for Wednesday’s game reflects accordingly, as David Ortiz is back in his usual DH spot after two error-free games at first base in Atlanta.

Taking his place first is Daniel Nava, who will make his third start of the season at third base and bat eighth.

A.J. Pierzynski also returns to the lineup playing catcher and batting fifth. Pierzynski sat out Tuesday’s 6-3 win in favor of David Ross. Jonny Gomes, who made a spectacular diving catch on Tuesday, will move to left field, switching spots with right fielder Grady Sizemore.

John Lackey is on the mound in his first start after seven innings of shutout baseball in his last outing against the Tampa Bay Rays, a no-decision the Red Sox ultimately lost 1-0.

Game time is set for 7:10 p.m., with a special pregame show covering the celebration of the Red Sox’s 2004 World Series championship team kicking off at 5:30 p.m.
