The Boston Bruins’ 4-2 victory in Game 5 against the Montreal Canadiens involved what seemed like a different Bruins team than the first four games.
Before Saturday night’s game, the second-round playoff series was tied at two games apiece, but the B’s still weren’t playing their best hockey. So what did they change to become so much more dominant in Game 5?
“I don’t know if we’re changing much,” Bruins defenseman Dougie Hamilton said after the game. “I think maybe we were just away from our game in the first couple games…so we’re just back to it now, and we have to keep doing it.”
