Anaheim Ducks winger Corey Perry has been quite unlucky in the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs, and that misfortune continued Thursday night in Game 2 of his team’s second-round series against the Los Angeles Kings.

In the final minute of the game, Perry was in the act of shooting on an empty Kings net after goaltender Jonathan Quick had gone to the bench for the extra attacker. As Perry made contact with the puck, his stick snapped into two pieces and he wasn’t able to get a clean shot off. Luckily, the Ducks held on to win and avoid a 3-0 series deficit.
