Grady Sizemore In Left Field For Red Sox’s Middle Game Against Twins

Grady SizemoreThe Boston Red Sox aren’t changing anything.

The Red Sox will use the exact same lineup Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins that they used for Tuesday’s series opener at Target Field. The exception, of course, is on the mound, where Felix Doubront will look to put Boston back in the win column after Jake Peavy struggled a bit Tuesday.

Right-hander Kevin Correia will toe the rubber for Minnesota, hence the Red Sox going with the left-handed-hitting Grady Sizemore in left field. Sizemore will bat fifth — sandwiched between first baseman Mike Napoli and catcher A.J. Pierzynski.

Right fielder Shane Victorino has had the most success of any Red Sox player against Correia. The Flyin’ Hawaiian enters with a .471 average, .526 on-base percentage, one home run and six RBIs in 19 career plate appearances against the Twins right-hander.
