Jackie Bradley Jr. is continuing to prove how valuable his defensive skills are for the Boston Red Sox.
On Friday night, the young center fielder crashed hard into the center field wall when he was attempting to make a lunging grab on John Jaso’s deep drive in the third inning. Bradley came up empty-handed on the tough play, but he certainly made up for it later in the game when he made an impressive catch against the wall and recovered in time to double up Josh Donaldson at first base.
With each game that passes, Bradley is looking more comfortable in center field, and the 24-year-old talked with NESN’s Adam Pellerin about his development early in the season. Check it out in the video above.
