The LSU baseball team must have worked hours to master this impressive — and painful — display of teamwork.
During the top of the third inning of the LSU-Arkansas game on Saturday, Tigers third baseman Christian Ibarra lost a foul ball pop-up off the bat of Arkansas catcher Alex Gosser in the sun. But Ibarra’s gaffe couldn’t have worked out more perfectly for shortstop Alex Bregman, who was luckily nearby to catch the ball off his teammate’s forehead.
There’s probably less embarrassing ways to get your head in the game, but LSU isn’t complaining because they got a web gem to go along with a 11-1 win on the day.
