Canadiens fans’ hatred of Boston reached a new high during Game 6 of their second-round Stanley Cup playoff series at Bell Centre in Montreal.

Tim Horton’s is to Canada what Dunkin’ Donuts is to New England, so of course there’s a Tim Horton’s located in Bell Centre. And like most coffee and doughnut shops, Tim Horton’s also sells Boston cream doughnuts.

But Habs fans refused to eat them during Monday night’s game.

Now, we’re pretty sure that eating a Boston cream doughnut doesn’t make you start dropping your R’s and wearing black and gold, but we also can’t say Bruins fans wouldn’t do something similar. Either way, it certainly shows just how deep this rivalry runs.
