Ortiz’s Home Run Gives Him Fourth-Most In Red Sox History (Video)

The Boston Red Sox were held to just one hit Friday night against Texas Rangers ace Yu Darvish, but they rebounded in a big way Saturday night with an 11-hit, eight-run affair.

Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz was part of that affair, but this wasn’t just your average, everyday hit from Big Papi.

Ortiz launched a solo shot out of Globe Life Park in Arlington during the third inning. The home run was his 380th in a Red Sox uniform, moving him ahead of Dwight Evans for fourth-most in franchise history.

Check out what Papi had to say in the video above.
