Zach Moore made history Saturday. He and his teammates made sure they celebrated accordingly.

Moore became the first player to be drafted into the NFL from tiny Division II Concordia-St. Paul University when the New England Patriots selected the defensive end in the sixth round with the 198th overall pick.

The two-time captain was with his teammates when he received the call, and USA Today Sports’ Tom Pelissero was there to capture their ecstatic reaction on video.

It was a pretty cool moment for Moore, who compiled 21 sacks in his final two seasons in St. Paul. Moore worked with the Patriots in the Twin Cities earlier this year and will join new addition Will Smith on a revamped defensive line in New England.

The new Patriot completed his celebration by tweeting his gratitude.
