Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Plaxico Burress may be known for accidentally shooting himself in the leg, but now he’s taking shots at Tom Brady. On Twitter, that is.

Burress took to Twitter to showcase what is apparently a new hockey fandom because he doesn’t seem to know anything about the sport. He tweeted about the Pittsburgh Penguins’ win over the New York Rangers on Wednesday night, except he did it prematurely. Very prematurely.

Luckily, fans were nice enough to let him know.

Of course, the Pens did go on to win, so Plax decided to congratulate himself while also taking an opportunity to remind New England Patriots fans of his Super Bowl-winning touchdown over the Pats in 2008 when he still played for the New York Giants.

Obviously, the replies to that tweet weren’t as kind.
