California ChromeCalifornia Chrome won the 140th Kentucky Derby with ease two weeks ago. Many expect the horse to do the same at the Preakness this weekend.

The field for the 139th running of the Preakness Stakes was released Wednesday, and the Triple Crown candidate will race from the No. 3 position as the heavy favorite at 3-5 odds.

California Chrome will face competition from Social Inclusion, the second choice at 5-1 odds, and Ride on Curlin and General a Rod, who both enter as 10-1 odds.

Horse racing has not had a Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978. Eight of the last seven Derby winners have gone on to win the Preakness at Pimlico — the most recent being I’ll Have Another in 2012 — but none have been able to make history at the Belmont Stakes.

Check out the full Preakness Stakes field with odds below.
