All fans in attendance for Game 1 of Thursday’s doubleheader at Fenway Park left the yard with a Dustin Pedroia bobblehead, but one lucky Boston Red Sox supporter went home with another souvenir, too.

Tampa Bay Rays catcher Jose Molina fouled off a Jake Peavy pitch into the seats along the first base line, and one fan — phone and beer still in hand — reached up to snag it out of the air with a sweet barehanded grab.

But the real winner in this situation was the guy behind him, who was too busy chowing on nachos to realize a foul ball was screaming right toward him. Saved your life, dude.

The Red Sox ended up dropping that game 2-1 and the nightcap 6-5 to wrap up a long, frustrating day at the ballpark.
