A cracked iPhone is really not such a bad deal when Rihanna is involved.

During Game 3 of the Thunder-Clippers series, Los Angeles Police Commission president Steve Soboroff was sitting courtside next to the superstar when he asked if he could take a picture with her. Rihanna obliged, but when she went to snap the selfie, she accidentally dropped his phone on the hardwood and cracked it in the process.

But Soboroff decided to make the best of the situation and he asked Rihanna to sign the iPhone before auctioning it off on eBay, with all of the proceeds benefiting the Los Angeles Police Department.

The phone was initially listed at $250 on May 12, but it sold for a whopping $66,500 on Thursday. That amount doesn’t include the $25,000 Rihanna promised to donate after the mishap occurred.
