Special Guests, ’04 Champs Ceremony Highlight 5:30 p.m. Red Sox Pregame Show

Dave RobertsNESN is extending Wednesday night’s Red Sox pregame programming to begin at 5:30 p.m. ET to cover the Boston Red Sox’s celebration of the 2004 World Series championship team.

During the extended pregame coverage, NESN’s Tom Caron and Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley will welcome several members of the 2004 team onto the NESN stage on Yawkey Way.

The pregame show will also feature an exclusive sit-down discussion between 2004 ALCS heroes Dave Roberts (who is currently the bench coach for the San Diego Padres) and Bill Mueller (who is currently the hitting coach for the Chicago Cubs). They discuss their memories of Game 4 of the ALCS against the New York Yankees when Roberts stole second base and Mueller singled him home to tie the game.

Former Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez will also join Eck and TC live on stage.
