When those who serve and protect our freedom return to civilian life, the transition can be tough, but luckily they aren’t alone.
For Jim Buzzell, who joined the army in 2004 and medically retired in 2012 due to wounds he suffered in Iraq, one of the hardest parts of Army life was leaving it. Last year Jim and his wife returned to Massachusetts and he returned to an organization he’s been a part of since he’s been in the Army: Team Red, White, and Blue.
The organization strives to create camaraderie by connecting them to one another and their community through physical and social activities.
