Rick SmithWhile everyone was wondering which prospect the Houston Texans would choose with their No. 1 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the team’s general manager Rick Smith announced that he has had “enough conversations to legitimately move” down from that coveted first pick.

NFL.com reported that Smith said the team might not want to move their pick because of the draftees they’ve targeted.

Sports Illustrated reported that those conversations Smith spoke of were with the Atlanta Falcons. Of course, if a trade is still in the works, the Falcons would have to give up a lot to get their hands on that pick.

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported that the Texans were asking for three first-round picks and one second-round pick in exchange for the top spot.
