After Los Angeles Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni announced his resignation, rumors began to swirl around the coaches of the two best college teams in the country this season, Kentucky’s John Calipari and UConn’s Kevin Ollie.

But both coaches denied the rumors just as quickly as they arose.

Ollie, who led the Huskies to a surprise 2014 NCAA Tournament win, may have been able to help a Lakers team that had its worst season in franchise history this year, but he won’t be meeting with the team as rumors suggested. Ollie took to Twitter to denounce those reports Tuesday.
