Patrick Kane is the most clutch player in the NHL, and he enhanced that reputation in Friday night’s Game 6 of the Western Conference final.
The Chicago Blackhawks winger, who set up the tying goal minutes earlier, scored the game-winning goal with just under four minutes left in the third period. The crafty forward navigated his way around the attacking zone before releasing a wrist shot that found its way past Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick.
It was Kane’s second goal of the game and his seventh point in the last two games, both of which were Chicago victories.
