Russia and Sweden played an intense semifinal game at the 2014 World Championships on Saturday.

The Russians earned a 3-1 victory with three unanswered goals after the Swedes opened the scoring just 19 seconds into the first period.

Toward the end of regulation, Russian head coach Oleg Znarok made a threatening gesture toward Sweden assistant coach Rikard Gronborg, who fired back with some angry words. The Russian coach could miss his team’s championship game against Finland or the Czech Republic because of his actions Saturday.
