Manchester City won the 2013-14 Premier League title Sunday, and club captain Vincent Kompany marked the occasion by doing what now seems like the obligatory thing to do.

Kompany took a “selfie” during the dressing-room celebrations and posted the photo on his Twitter account.

Goalkeeper Joe Hart and defender Joleon Lescott joined Kompany for the photographic moment.

Manchester City defeated West Ham 2-0 in its final Premier League game of the season. The result gave Manchester City 86 points — two more than second-place Liverpool — in the final standings.

The championship is Manchester City’s second in three seasons and first under manager Manuel Pellegrini. While the race didn’t go down to the final kick of the last game (as it did in 2011-12), Manchester City fans had to wait until Kompany scored in the 49th minute before their title celebrations could begin in earnest.
