Head coach Bill Belichick showed his ability to adapt to the game this offseason by seriously strengthening the New England Patriots secondary.

Belichick added two big cornerbacks in Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner after losing cornerback Aqib Talib to the Denver Broncos in free agency. With Devin McCourty and Patrick Chung, who the team reacquired in the offseason, joining them at free safety and strong safety respectively, the Patriots’ starting secondary will be a tough one for offenses to beat.

But the Patriots also have a deep defensive backfield. With guys like Logan Ryan, Tavon Wilson, Duron Harmon, Alfonso Dennard and Kyle Arrington as backups, the Patriots really can’t go wrong.

The Patriots secondary has struggled in the past, but Belichick has built one that, on paper, assures another season that could send them deep into the playoffs.

Still, is their secondary the best in the league? Tell us what you think in the poll below.
