Say what you want about Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig, but the guy plays the game hard.

That much has been evident during the electric start to Puig’s major league career, as the 23-year-old frequently has shown off his freakish athletic gifts to the delight of both teammates and fans.

In the eighth inning of the Dodgers’ matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday, he was at it again.

Puig apparently is impervious to pain, as he was able to track down this fly ball off the bat of Pirates shortstop Clint Barmes and hang on for the catch despite crashing violently into the wall in right field.

While his Dodgers fell to the Pirates 6-3, Puig excelled at the plate as well, going 2-for-4 and smacking an RBI double that he celebrated, of course, with a monster bat flip.
